Is it safe to update the SX OS 2.9?

After the updating of sx os, Some upgraded users have reported that there are still some problems with the new version of sx os, such as the inability to be compatible with the latest version of the game. Here are some of the users’ views on this update.

I've managed to update to 9.0.0! Here are the steps: I've already talked to people who have updated to 9.0 with errors and no backup.. make sure to use 2.8 ONLY to update to 9.0.0.  - I updated fine with ChoiDujourNX 1.0.2, the problem is installing when using SXOS 2.9 - if you use Atmosphere to update or SX OS 2.8 - you'll be fine. Yes, You must update to 9.0.0 using SX OS 2.8 and Choi 1.0.2.. then you can update the boot.bin to version 2.9.. but this seems pretty buggy at the moment.

To those having problems. Install atmosphere. Boot to atmosphere. Redo choi update while in atmosphere. Then use 2.9 beta to boot to sx os. I helped a friend who made the mistake of updating to 9.0 while using 2.9.

'I still recommend staying on 8.1.0 or lower for now. There are problems with using the 2.9 boot.dat and ChoiDujourNX. But if you MUST update to 9.0.0. Then you will need to use the 2.8 boot.dat instead, and use ChoiDujourNX v1.0.2 to update. After it's complete, then you can put the 2.9 boot.dat on the SD card.

We are also releasing a firmware package with SX installer tomorrow if you would rather wait until then.
