The N2 Elite provides a ton of value considering the price of Amiibo figures and the rarity of some characters. The addition of the USB reader/writer and new software really brings the device to life. It is much easier to use than the Android-based program originally offered and certainly better than what is offered by the competition (NaMiiO). The N2 team clearly knows what they are doing. They have also promised to release documentation and an SDK that will allow developers to repurpose the device themselves, truly making the sky the limit. I suspect advanced features such Skylander support, editing figure data such as stats, etc. will be possible sooner than later using this device.
