Is Stargate 3ds supporting 128gb sd card, region free and online play?

The releasing date for Stargate 3ds is coming nearly, but we still have a list of questions on the flashcart. Can it be region free? Is it playing eshop 3ds games? How large microsd card does it support? Here, let me try to give you a reply on these answers.

How large microsd card does Stargate 3ds support, 128GB?

For the time being, Sky3ds+, Gateway 3ds and in fact many R4 3ds cards are compatible with up to 128gb microSD. And taking the fact that, Stargate 3ds is supporting 3DS/NDS/GBA/SNES games. So we could guess, the Stargate 3ds card should support 128gb sd card too. 

Then it can hold and play lots of game roms. As for which microsd card to choose for Stargate 3ds? Recommend you Sandisk brand, class 8 or 10, 64 and 128gb both are good options.

Is Stargate 3ds region free?

The answer will be most likely No. If this card is region free for 3ds gaming, I think the site will add it to its feature as the selling point. But from what we know, they site does not mention region free of Stargate 3ds. So the most possible answer is Stargate 3ds is still region locking for playing 3ds games as like the Sky3ds+. But don't worry, use some homebrew exploit, the Stargate 3ds card can play 3ds game from any region on your host 3ds system device.

Can Stargate 3ds play eshop 3ds games?

It's not sure too. If it works like a Sky3ds+ card, then it can't support eshop 3ds games. If it runs like a Gateway 3ds, this flashcart can play eshop 3ds roms too. It's not a big issue for Stargate 3ds. Cause there is a method to play free eshop 3ds games for now, that's the Freeshop.

Freeshop is homebrew software touted as a tool used to download 3DS games that you already own. Most people, however, know Freeshop as a thing you can use to download entire 3DS games, free of charge (hence the name).

 Usage:
1. Install the CIA file on your CFW of choice (preferably one removing region restrictions). Do NOT ask about CFW issues in this thread.
2. Put an encTitleKeys.bin file in the directory sdmc:/3ds/data/freeShop/keys/  or go to update settings in freeShop and add a URL to auto-download (recommended).
3. LaunchfreeShop and enjoy.
