3DS Hacking Guide

 

Today's Nintendo 3ds is fully hacked by many means. As a 3ds console users, even your device is with v11.10.0-43, it is completely cracked. Why we can say that? Because you are able to play free games, run homebrews, install cfws on the latest 3ds v11.10 with or without using the flashcart or flashcard.

3DS Homebrew Instruction

There are two 3ds homebrew exploits to use for installing Homebrews on 3DS V11.10 to 3DS V9.0. They are Ninjhax 2.9 and Freakyhax.Unfortunately, the Ninjhax 2.9 can not work on 11.10.0-43 now,  They are both the primary 3ds exploits to use, so you can setup them directly on a 3ds/2ds/new 3ds/2ds xl console withou any other hacking. Here is the latest 3ds 11.9 homebrew instruction.

1. Go to the get ninjhax section of this page and enter your console's firmware version.
2. Submit the form; you should get your very own ninjhax QR code.
3. Download the homebrew starter kit and extract it at the root of your SD card. Alternatively, you may choose to only download The Homebrew Launcher menu executable and place it at the root of your SD card. No matter what, after this step, you should have a file named boot.3dsx placed at the root of your SD card.
4. Make sure your 3DS's wifi connection is enabled and connected to the internet (this is important!).
5. Start CUBIC NINJA on your console, choose "Create", then "QR code", and finally "Scan QR code".
6. Scan the QR Code. This step might take a couple tries; make sure you fill up as much of your 3DS's screen with the QR code. If scanning the QR code returns to menu with an error, try a few more times.
7. Follow the on screen instructions. You may choose not to install the exploit to your gamecard's savedata, though doing so is not recommended.
8. OPTIONAL - once the ninjhax is installed to your gamecard, just go back to the "QR code" menu and it'll run automatically!
9. OPTIONAL - you can now run homebrew apps on your 3DS! Simply drag and drop application folders into the "3ds/" directory that was created on your SD card by ninjhax.

 

3DS CFW Tutorial

 

Since the appearance of NTRboothax, we can install CFWs to any 3ds console and any 3ds firmware version. Besides, in order to get a cfw by using ntrboot method, we only need to prepare 2 things, one is the ntrboot compatible flashcard the other is a magnet. The following is a 3DS CFW tutorial with the NTRboothax flashcard, such as R4i gold 3ds rts plus, R4i b9s 3ds, Ace3ds X and so on.

Flashing ntrboot (3DS Single System)

This method requires nothing more than your stock unhacked 3DS and a compatible flashcart. This method uses the flashcart to run the ntrboot flasher .nds file on your 3DS.

What You Need

• A magnet that triggers the sleep mode of your device (if using a folding style device)
• Your ntrboot flashed flashcart
• The latest release of SafeB9SInstaller
• The latest release of boot9strap (standard boot9strap; not the devkit file, not the ntr file)
• The latest release of Luma3DS (the .7z file)
• The latest release of the Homebrew Launcher

Instructions

Section I - Prep Work

1. Power off your device
2. Insert your device’s SD card into your computer
   • This is the SD card from your 3DS, not the SD card from your flashcart
3. Copy SafeB9SInstaller.firm to the root of your SD card and rename it to boot.firm
4. Copy boot.3dsx to the root of your SD card
5. Create a folder named boot9strap on the root of your SD card
6. Copy boot9strap.firm and boot9strap.firm.sha from the boot9strap .zip to the /boot9strap/ folder on your SD card
   
7. Reinsert your SD card into your device
8. Power on your device

Section II - ntrboot

1. Use the magnet to find the spot on your device where the sleep sensor is triggered
   • This step is not needed on the old 2DS (which has a sleep mode switch)
2. Power off your device
3. Insert your flashcart into your device
4. Place the magnet on your device to trigger the sleep sensor
   • On old 2DS, you should instead enable the sleep mode switch
5. Hold (Power) + (Start) + (Select) + (X) for several seconds, then release the buttons
   • It may take a few attempts to get this to work because the positioning is awkward
6. If the exploit was successful, you will have booted into SafeB9SInstaller

Section III - Installing boot9strap

1. Wait for all safety checks to complete
2. Remove the magnet from your device
   • On old 2DS, you should instead disable the sleep mode switch
3. When prompted, input the key combo given to install boot9strap
4. Once it has completed, force your device to power off by holding down the power button
   • Your device will only boot to the SafeB9SInstaller screen until the next section is completed

Section IV - Configuring Luma3DS

1. Insert your SD card into your computer
2. Delete boot.firm from the root of your SD card
3. Copy boot.firm from the Luma3DS .7z to the root of your SD card
4. Reinsert your SD card into your device
5. Power on your device
6. Your device should have booted into the Luma3DS configuration menu
   • If you get a black screen, follow this troubleshooting guide
7. Use the (A) button and the D-Pad to turn on the following:
   • “Show NAND or user string in System Settings”
8. Press (Start) to save and reboot
   • If you get an error, just continue the next page
